A new year means new cool tech. Razer is promising the full desktop gaming experience in a mobile device with the Switchblade. It’s just in the concept stage. But, okay, I’ll bite. Cool keyboard.

LaserDead
Ah, poor laserdisc. You were so shiney, so crisp, so cool, so large and now so dead. Long, long dead right? Wrong. Pioneer has continued to make players and support the format since it was declared dead at the turn of the century. No Longer, they’ve given up the ghost and announced they are ceasing production of laserdisc players.

Now my signed collector’s edition of the Hellraiser LD will be even more worthless! Hooray!

Buttons Rule
The Consumer Electronics show is this week and a truckload of new gizmos and gadgets are being revealed. The 2nd one to grab my attention is this set of Logitech PC peripherals for gamers that all work together and have fancy sounding features like G-key macros and voice-morphing. Check that dope LCD screen on the keyboard!
